The Todd Glass Show

In case you didn’t know, Todd Glass, famously the best part of Comedy and Everything Else, has his own podcast now, and it’s great. I love this guy! Let me break it down for you a little: He’s earnest and silly at the same time. There’s something very honest about him. He’s enthusiastic. He’s all over the place when he talks, and he talks a lot. I like his observations about self-improvement and human behaviors, his own included. It’s all very endearing. And he’s funny, of course. You can just tell that his guests/comedian friends really like him.
He always talks about slowing down and appreciating things. Like respecting what you are eating even if it’s just a quick bowl of cereal. And the hot washcloth thing “like they do at Chinese restaurants.” I need to start doing this. Just put a hot washcloth to your face because it forces you to STOP for a second. Take a deep breath and get in the moment. I don’t know, something about the guy just really resonates with me. If I’m not staying up late manically reading lifestyle blogs, I’m listening to his podcast and stifling my giggles so I don’t wake up M.
Here’s an old one I was enjoying last night with Sarah Silverman, Kyle Dunnigan, and pop-in David Spade.
“Hiiiii. It’s Todd.”
